This is no ordinary bone broth—Alchemist’s Bone Broth is a carefully crafted elixir of deep nourishment, immune resilience, and spiritual restoration. Infused with roots, mushrooms, and sacred herbs, this broth is designed to warm the body, fortify the spirit, and bring balance in times of need.

Like the alchemists of old, we take simple ingredients—bones, water, roots, and herbs—and through time, heat, and patience, transform them into something powerful. Let this broth be your medicine, your comfort, and your grounding force.


Ingredients (Large Batch – 12+ Cups of Broth)

Bone Base (Collagen & Mineral Rich)

  • 2-3 lbs organic chicken bones (or beef bones, or a mix)
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (helps extract minerals)
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 10-12 cups filtered water

The Alchemist’s Additions (Healing Roots, Adaptogens & Sacred Herbs)

Immune & Anti-Inflammatory Boosters:

  • 2-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp cinnamon powder)
  • 1 tbsp burdock root (supports liver detox and digestion)

Adaptogens & Energy Support:

  • 2-3 slices reishi mushroom (deep immune and nervous system support)
  • 1 tsp rhodiola root (mental clarity and stress resilience)
  • 1 tsp ginseng root (energy and endurance)
  • 1 tsp ashwagandha root (calms nervous system and supports stress recovery)
  • 1 tsp shatavari root (gentle adaptogen for vitality and hormonal balance)

Spiritual & Flavorful Herbs:

  • 2 bay leaves (clarity, purification, digestion support)
  • 1 sprig rosemary (memory, circulation, grounding)
  • 2-3 fresh or dried sage leaves (cleansing, protection, antimicrobial)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bones: Roast raw bones at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes (optional but enhances flavor).
  2. Simmer the Broth: In a large pot or slow cooker, add bones, vinegar, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Add Herbs and Adaptogens: After 30 minutes, add reishi, rhodiola, ginseng, ashwagandha, shatavari, burdock, ginger, cinnamon, bay leaf, rosemary, and sage. Cover and simmer for 12-24 hours.
  4. Strain and Store: Strain out solids, pressing down for full extraction. Store broth in jars in the fridge for up to five days or freeze for up to six months.
